1. Who we are

printerpartpro.com is operated by IKNOWEE, a supplier of printheads and spare parts for wide-format digital printers. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. What we collect

We only collect what is necessary to answer your request and operate the website:

• Inquiry forms — your name, business email, company name, country, product interest, quantity, and the message you write. If you use the quote cart, the product names and quantities you select are also sent to us.
• Newsletter — your email address, the page you subscribed from, and your preferred language.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and referring URL. This is collected through server logs and analytics only if you consent to analytics cookies.
• WhatsApp — if you contact us through WhatsApp, your phone number and message are processed by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy.

We do not collect payment card data on this website, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis

• To answer your inquiry and prepare a quotation — legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
• To send the newsletter — legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You give consent through the double opt-in confirmation email, and you can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it — legal basis: your consent to analytics cookies (Art. 6(1)(a)). Analytics scripts are not loaded at all unless you accept.
• To keep business records and defend legal claims — legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a business and complying with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f)).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and communicate with you, and only to the extent needed:

• Brevo — email delivery for confirmation emails and newsletters (EU-based provider).
• Baidu Analytics — website traffic measurement, loaded only with your consent.
• Cloudflare — content delivery and security.
• Hosting provider — server infrastructure where the site and database are stored.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• be informed about how your data is used (this page);
• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased ("right to be forgotten");
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out;

7. How to have your data deleted

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request" from the address you used with us. We will confirm within 30 days and delete the personal data from our active systems, except records we are legally required to keep (for example invoices already issued). Newsletter subscribers can also unsubscribe instantly using the link in any email.

8. Cookies

9. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, the database is accessible only from the web server itself, and administrative access is restricted to authorised staff. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting newsletter subscribers will also be announced by email.
