1. About these terms
These terms apply to quotations and sales of printheads and spare parts by IKNOWEE ("we", "us") through printerpartpro.com. By placing an order you accept them. If you buy as a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.
2. Product information and compatibility
We describe parts by the OEM part number, the printer models they fit and their condition (new, refurbished, OEM or compatible). Photographs are for illustration; minor cosmetic differences do not affect function.
You are responsible for confirming that the part number matches your machine. We are happy to help identify a part if you send the printer model, a photo of the old part and any label on it — but the final check is yours. Parts ordered by mistake are handled under section 7.
3. Quotations
- Prices on the website are indicative and do not constitute a binding offer. A quotation becomes binding only when we confirm it in writing and you accept it within its validity period (normally 15 days).
- Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise, and are exclusive of freight, insurance, duties and taxes unless the quotation says otherwise.
- Quoted prices may change if you alter quantity, specification, packaging or delivery terms.
4. Orders and payment
- An order is accepted when we issue a written order confirmation (Proforma Invoice) stating items, quantity, price, Incoterm and lead time.
- Standard terms: 100% payment before shipment for orders below USD 3,000. Larger orders may be agreed at 30% deposit with the balance before shipment.
- Accepted methods: bank transfer (T/T). Bank charges are borne by the payer; the invoiced amount must be received in full.
- Production or reservation of stock starts only after the deposit clears.
5. Shipping and delivery
- Incoterms: EXW or FOB unless otherwise agreed in writing. Risk passes to you at the point stated in the agreed Incoterm.
- Lead times are estimates given in good faith. Delays caused by carriers, customs, holidays or events outside our control do not entitle you to cancel without our written agreement.
- We pack parts for international transport. Please inspect the parcel on arrival and note any visible damage on the carrier's delivery document before signing.
- Import duties, VAT and customs clearance are the buyer's responsibility unless expressly included in the quotation.
6. Inspection on arrival
Please check quantity and part numbers within 3 working days of delivery. Shortages or wrong items must be reported within that period, with photographs of the parcel label and contents.
7. Returns
- Dead on arrival or wrong item shipped by us — report within 7 days of delivery; we replace the item or refund it, and cover return freight.
- Ordered by mistake (unused) — accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the part is unused, in its original packaging, and has not been fitted. Return freight and any restocking cost are your responsibility, and we may refuse items that show installation marks.
- Not returnable — parts that have been installed, used, soldered, modified, or damaged by incorrect handling; special-order and custom items; electronic components removed from sealed packaging.
- All returns require an RMA number issued by us before shipping. Parcels sent without an RMA may be refused.
8. Warranty
- New and OEM parts carry a 3-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery, unless the quotation states a different period.
- Refurbished parts carry a 30-day warranty unless stated otherwise.
- The warranty covers replacement or refund of the part itself. It does not cover labour, downtime, lost production, or damage to the printer.
- Excluded: damage from incorrect installation, unsuitable ink or cleaning fluid, power problems, physical impact, or use outside the printer manufacturer's specification.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the invoiced value of the part concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost production or damage to third-party equipment.
10. Intellectual property
Brand names, model numbers and trademarks mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility. We are not affiliated with, or authorised by, those manufacturers unless expressly stated.
11. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, war, strikes, government action, or failure of transport and power infrastructure.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes amicably; failing that, the courts at our place of business have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
